This week the challenge is all about Pandemic Thanksgiving.
This week is the annual Thanksgiving Feast in the United States and this year we are combining it with a global pandemic. Woo hoo!
The Pandemic is a hot topic these days. Wearing masks, isolating, missing family, arguing about masks, not traveling for the holiday – it all brings up big emotion.
But this week’s challenge is simple. Show the world how you are spending your week – hopefully isolating by yourself or with your immediate family, sheltering in place, and giving thanks that the lucky of us are still alive. You can pick any genre of photography to complete this challenge – still-life, portraits, self-portrait, abstraction, wishful thinking – it’s all up to you.
Read through the Learning To See description to make sure you get why and how you are doing the challenge. Make sure that the composition of your images are 100% about the challenge.
Always experiment with variations on the weekly theme within the subjects of the challenge – composition, contrast, shape, texture, colors, light, shadow, perspective, framing …
