It was my last few days in Provence, in France, and in Europe. Arles is one of my favorite towns and I spent a couple of days revisiting it and becoming reacquainted with Saint-Trophime, Les Alyscamps, and the Cafe de la Nuit. Tarascon and Beaucaire were random day trips. It was a Sunday and I really wanted to go to Saint Remy, but the bus wasn’t running so I asked which bus was running and hopped on – and it took me to Tarascon. After visiting the castle of King Rene, it was a short walk across the Rhone to Beaucaire, which was really sleepy that day.
